Clinical effect of facial dermabrasion by microcrystal combined with red light blue in the treatment of acne pitting scar / 中华医学美学美容杂志

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of facial dermabrasion by microcrystal combined with red blue light in the treatment of acne pitting scar.Methods Selected from June 2013 to April 2016 hospital dermatology outpatients,98 cases of facial acne pitting scar were retrospectively analyzed,in which 50 cases of patients with facial acne dermabrasion were treated with red and blue light treatment (combined group),48 patients only choose facial acne dermabrasion treatment (control group),then treatment effect was compared between the two groups.Results At 3 months after operation,the ECCA score and mean sag depth of the two groups were significantly lower than those of the preoperative (t=23.208 and 18.586,P＜0.001).The ECCA score of the combined group was significantly lower than that of the control group (t=7.039,P＜0.05);The healing rate was 80％,which was significantly higher than those in the control group (56.25％) (x2 =6.387,P＜0.05);after 1 months and 3 months;the subjective satisfaction scores of the patients in the combined group were significantly higher than those in the control group (t=3.318 and 3.776,P＜0.05);Patients in the combined group were significantly earlier than the control group (t =4.419,P＜0.05);the incidence of edema and erythema was significantly lower in the combined group than in the control group (x2 =5.096,P＜0.05).Conclusions Facial acne dermabrasion by microcrystal combined with red and blue light treatment is superior to the single use of dermabrasion.

Interleukin 10 promotor gene polymorphism in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory T cell-mediated immunological disease. It is found to be associated with an increased expression of T-helper 1 and T-helper 17 lymphocytes and decreased expression of T-helper 2 and T-regulatory lymphocytes. Interleukin 10 (IL-10) is an important immunosuppressive cytokine mainly produced by T-helper 2 and T regulatory cells. The main function of IL-10 is to terminate and control inflammatory processes and thereby maintain an immunological homeostasis. Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, IL-10 is a current focus of interest in research. Relative deficiency of IL-10 is found to play the main role in the immunopathogenesis of psoriasis. Analyzing the expression of IL-10 will provide a better understanding of its role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis. Only a few studies have analyzed the role of IL-10 in the pathogenesis of psoriasis, and their findings were contradictory. This article reviews and analyzes the role of IL-10 and its promoter gene polymorphism in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.

Association of TNFSF 4 gene polymorphisms with systemic lupus erythematosus / 中华皮肤科杂志

Objective To investigate the association of two single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs),rs844648 and rs3850641,in OX40L (TNFSF4) gene,with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) in Hubei Han populations.Methods A total of 82 patients with SLE and 100 normal human controls were eligible for this study.Blood samples were obtained from these subjects and DNA was extracted from these samples.PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) was used to analyze the genotype of SNPs rs844648 and rs3850641.Results The frequency of AA,AG and GG genotype of the SNP rs844648 was 14.0％,55.0％and 31.0％ respectively in the controls,20.7％,62.2％ and 17.1％ respectively in the patients.A higher frequency was observed for A allele at the SNP rs844648 and G allele at the SNP rs3850641 in patients compared with the normal controls [73.2％ vs.69.0％％,x2 =4.69,P ＜ 0.05,OR =2.182 (1.068 - 4.458);37.8％ vs.24.0％,x2 =4.07,P ＜ 0.05,OR =1.925 (1.015 - 3.651)].The frequency of AA,AG and GG genotype of SNP rs3850641 was 76.0％,21.0％ and 3.0％ respectively in the normal controls,62.2％,31.7％ and 6.1％ respectively in the patients.Conclusions There are polymorphisms in the SNPs rs844648 and rs3850641 in TNFSF4 gene,which may be associated with the development of SLE.

Necrobiosis lipoidica: a case with histopathological findings revealed asteroid bodies and was successfully treated with dipyridamole plus intralesional triamcinolone.

The significance of necrobiosis lipoidica (NL) includes its relationship with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, its tendency to break down into painful ulcers, an albeit tenuous association with squamous cell carcinoma and, by no means least, its cosmetic impact, occurring as it does on the shins of young and middle-aged women. Necrobiosis (degeneration of collagen) and granulomous inflammation are well-documented histological findings in NL; however, to see an asteroid body in an area of NL is rare. To the best of our knowledge, there is only one such report of NL described so far. We report the case of a NL patient whose histopathological examination revealed asteroid bodies. The patient had suffered persistent NL for a period of more than 2 years. She was successfully treated with dipyridamole plus intralesional triamcinolone and the lesions healed completely after 2 months of therapy. The patient has remained free of lesions since discontinuing therapy.

Immunological Changes in Syphilitic Paitents with Different Courses / 中华皮肤科杂志

Objective To study the relationship between the different courses of Treponema pallidum(TP)infection and the immunological changes of the host.Methods ELISA was used to detect the anti-TP antibody in the sera of patients with primary syphilis and secondary syphilis.The MTT chromatometry was used to detect the effect of syphilitic sera on the proliferation of lymphocyte from umbilical cord blood.ABC-ELISA was used to detect the serum level of IL-2,IL-4in syphilis patients.Results The activity index(AI)of anti-TP antibody in secondary syphilis was higher than that in primary syphilis(t=3.919,P0.05).Conclusions The anti-Treponema pallidum antibody significantly increases as the course progresses from primary syphilis to the secondary stage.It seems that the celluar immunity in syphilis patients is suppressed along with the progress of course from primary stage to secondary stage.

Effect of Chinese Medicinal Herbs on Human Scalp Hair Growth in Vitro / 中华皮肤科杂志

Objective To study the effect of Chinese herbs on human scalp hair growth in vitro. Methods Organ culture of human scalp hair follicles was used to study the effects of extracts of Crataegus cuneata, Ligustrum lucidum, Polyporus umbelatus and Bletilla striata mixture and ginseng saponin on hair growth. Results Low doses of mixture extracts(1.28 ?g/mL and 6.4 ?g/mL) markedly enhanced the hair growth and lengthened the period of hair growth, while high doses of mixture extracts(4 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL) sharply inhibited hair growth and shortened the period of hair growth. High doses of ginseng saponin (40 ?g/mL and 200 ?g/mL) also had an inhibiting effect on hair growth. Conclusion This observation suggests that extracts of Crataegus cuneata, Ligustrum lucidum, Polyporus umbelatus and Bletilla striata mixture can promote hair growth in vitro.
